![]() ![]() Ichigo responds by destroying the hollow, therefore agreeing to help Rukia in her shinigami duties (or so it seems). She tells him that if he helps that child, he’ll have to help all the Pluses being hunted down by the hollows. Ichigo instantly begins to head towards the hollow, when Rukia tells him to halt. They spot the Plus child, being chased by a hollow. Rukia tells him to follow her, and reveals that she has received orders from Soul Society to eliminate a hollow in a children’s park. She grabs out and puts on a glove with a skull on it and punches Ichigo, releasing him into his shinigami form. He only fought the hollow last night because his family was in danger, and this angers Rukia. Therefore, Rukia orders Ichigo to perform the duties of a shinigami, which he promptly refuses. It’s also his fault that she has to use a Gigai (temporary body that humans can see) until her powers come back. According to her, she cannot return to Soul Society, because Ichigo had stolen all her powers the night before. Rukia retorts that she did quite well (learning modern Japanese), considering she only had one night. Ichigo demands to know why the hell she’s here, and she responds (in ‘ancient’ (aka not modern)) Japanese (well, she is 150, Ichigo-kun!). ![]() Somewhere outside, Rukia and Ichigo have a ‘little chat’. ![]() As a final blow, as they’re about to shake hands, Rukia has a death threat written all across her palm (literally), saying that he’s dead if he makes a scene. As expected, Ichigo makes a big fuss over it, and Rukia further tortures him, saying that this IS the first time they’ve met (right, Ichigo?). Her voice is noticeably (at least an octave) higher than the night before. In the classroom, Ichigo is calmly talking to his friends, when a familiar person (Kuchiki Rukia) introduces herself to be the new student sitting beside him. That scares off Orihime, and she runs off, stuttering that she’s okay. Ichigo finally asks Orihime (her last name is revealed to be Inoue) if she’s alright, and and offers her a hand (too bad his expression is quite…mean). As always, he rudely dismisses it, and gets a scolding from Tatsuki. Ichigo accidently bumps into her, knocking her over. Ichigo is thoroughly confused at how his family completely forgot the incident the night before, and replaced it with a car crash.Īt school, a girl called Orihime has brought a very weird lunch (I wonder how she’ll eat it…), as she walks with another girl, Tatsuki. Apparently none of them can remember the incident with the hollow, and Ichigo’s dad tells him that a truck crashed into their house last night (as they look at the damage done by the hollow). Ichigo gets woken up in a most unusual manner (man, I’d hate it if my dad tried to kill me so early in the morning) and he instantly asks about the wounds that Karin and Yuzu received the night before. ![]()
